Nature of the practice

Parallel Lives Reading is a practice of personal and symbolic exploration, not a health service. It promises no outcomes.

Rules for therapists

Certified therapists practise independently and are responsible for their practice. They accept the Therapist Convention, the Code of Conduct and the Confidentiality Agreement. They commit to making no promises of cure, guaranteed results or treatment of illness, in line with Portuguese Decree-Law 238/2015. Certification attests to training and to the annual commitments, not to any particular outcome.

Intellectual property

The LVPT method, its structure, texts, training materials and library documents belong to Filipa Faustino. Leitura de Vidas Paralelas® (INPI no. 658449) and Filipa Faustino Angel Method® (INPI no. 566397) are registered trade marks. They may not be copied, distributed or used without written permission. Documents in the private area carry a personal watermark.

Training and purchases

Enrolment in training editions is made on this site, with Filipa Faustino, under the conditions shown there. If this site ever sells courses or digital content, the final price including VAT and all pre-contractual information will always be shown before purchase. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal without giving a reason. For digital content, this right is lost only when the person expressly consents to immediate access and acknowledges that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, the consumer may refer it to CNIACC, Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (https://www.cniacc.pt). More information is available on the Portal do Consumidor (www.consumidor.gov.pt).
